Terms of Use

By accessing the wireless network, you acknowledge that you're of legal age, you have read and understood and agree to be bound by this agreement.

You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful and take full responsibility for your acts.

The wireless network is a guest Wi-Fi service provided free of charge for temporary use by visitors, guests, and customers on the premises. It is intended for light, non-commercial activities such as web browsing, email, and social media. Access is granted on a limited basis (e.g., session duration depending of your voucher code, renewable upon reconnection, subject to availability and fair usage).

Acceptable Use

You must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to Swiss data protection regulations (Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP) and copyright laws.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accessing, uploading, downloading, or distributing illegal, harmful, or obscene content.
  • Transmitting viruses, malware, spam, or engaging in phishing, hacking, or any form of network intrusion.
  • Excessive bandwidth consumption (e.g., large file downloads, streaming high-definition video for extended periods, torrenting, or peer-to-peer file sharing), which may result in throttling or disconnection to ensure fair access for all users.
  • Commercial use, such as running a business, VPN tunneling for corporate access, or hosting servers.
  • Impersonating others or attempting to bypass network security measures.

Privacy and Data Collection

  • The network is unencrypted and open; data transmitted may be intercepted by third parties. Use at your own risk—avoid sending sensitive information (e.g., passwords, financial details) without HTTPS or VPN.
  • We may log basic connection data (e.g., MAC address, IP address, connection time, data volume) for network management, security, and compliance purposes. This data is retained for up to 6 months in accordance with Swiss law and is not shared with third parties except as required by law or for abuse investigation.
  • No personal identification is required to connect, but if you provide any information (e.g., via a captive portal), it will be handled in compliance with our privacy policy.

Security and Liability

  • You are solely responsible for the security of your device. We recommend enabling firewalls, updating software, and using antivirus protection.
  • The provider assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft of data, device malfunction, or exposure to risks arising from use of the network.
  • Access may be monitored for security and performance reasons. Suspicious activity may lead to immediate disconnection without notice.

Availability and Modifications

  • The wireless network is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to uptime, speed, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Service may be interrupted for maintenance, overload, or technical issues without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify these terms, restrict access, or terminate the service at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Schlieren.

By connecting to the network, you confirm your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, disconnect immediately.
